Volts Indicator

The IPC illuminates the VOLT indicator whenever the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) sends a class 2 message requesting illumination, via the class 2 serial data line. The indicator identifies a low charging condition in the electrical system. The IPC also illuminates the indicator during the bulb check.
