Heater Hoses Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J 37097-A Hose Clamp Remover/Installer




1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
2. Position the J 37097-A in order to remove the heater hose clamps.
3. Remove the heater hoses from the heater core.




4. Remove the heater hoses from the heater pipe adapters.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the heater hoses on to the heater pipe adapters.




2. Install the heater hoses on to the heater core.
3. Position the J 37097-A in order to install the heater hose clamps.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
