Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Striker Adjustment

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Open the instrument panel compartment door.




3. Loosen the screws holding the instrument panel compartment striker to the IP.
4. Adjust the instrument panel compartment striker for proper alignment of the instrument panel compartment.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Tighten the screws holding the instrument panel compartment striker.

Tighten the instrument panel compartment striker screws to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

2. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement (Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement).
