Front Side Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement. Service and Repair
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
4. Remove the door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the front door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
7. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
8. Remove the window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
9. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
10. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Service and Repair).
11. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Door Handle Replacement).
12. Remove the inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement ().
13. Remove the lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement (Front Side Door Lock Replacement).
14. Remove the door side molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement).
15. Support the door.




16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts.
17. Remove the door.

Installation Procedure





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the intermediate door hinge bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

2. Remove the support.
3. Install the door side moldings. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement (Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement).
4. Install the lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement (Front Side Door Lock Replacement).
5. Install the inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement ().
6. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Door Handle Replacement).
7. Install the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
9. Install the window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
10. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)
11. Install the front door inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
12. Connect the electrical connectors.
13. Install the door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
14. Install the rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement (Front Side Door Wiring Conduit Replacement).
15. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement. Service and Repair
16. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement. Service and Repair
17. Adjust the door. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment (Adjustments).
