Heating and Air Conditioning: Application and ID
SYSTEM INFORMATION AND IDENTIFICATIONThis vehicle may be equipped with a manual A/C system (CJ3, C60), or an automatic A/C system (CJ2). This system is designed to provide a comfortable environment inside the vehicle. Both electronic and vacuum circuits determine air intake and discharge locations PCM Controlled A/C operation is communicated two different ways. The first is a 12 volt signal from the HVAC Controller to the PCM, the 12.0 volt signal indicates that an A/C mode is selected (CJ3, C60). The second is communicated Class II from the HVAC Controller to the PCM that an A/C mode is selected (CJ2).
