Charging System

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the charge warning indicator via the class 2 serial data line. The instrument cluster turns ON the charge indicator under the following conditions:
^ During a bulb check
^ When the PCM detects an under voltage (11.2 V) or over voltage (16.5 V)
