Low Engine Coolant

The LOW COOLANT indicator receives battery voltage when the ignition switch is in the following positions:
^ RUN
^ BULB TEST
^ START

The instrument cluster will turn on the LOW COOLANT indicator for approximately 1 second during engine start in order to perform a bulb check. The engine coolant level indicator module sends a ground signal to the instrument cluster when the coolant level in the reservoir is below the minimum recommended level.
