Front Seat Lumbar Support Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
3. Remove the seat map pocket panel.
4. Remove the seat side air bag. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front.
5. Remove the seatback cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.




7. Remove the clips securing the top and bottom of the lumbar assembly (14) from the frame (18).
8. Remove the lumbar assembly (14).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the lumbar assembly (14).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the seatback cover to the seatback cushion. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement (Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front) .
4. Install the seat side air bag. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front.
5. Install the seat map pocket panel.
6. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement (Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat) .
7. Install the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
