HVAC Control Module Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the right IP cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the heater and A/C control.
3. Pull the heater and A/C control (1) rearward.
4. Disconnect the heater and A/C control electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the heater and A/C control electrical connectors.
2. Install the heater and A/C control (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the heater and A/C control fasteners (2).

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in).

4. Install the right IP cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
5. Recalibrate the actuators. Refer to BCM Programming/RPO Configuration in Body Control Module System.
