Rear Compartment Lid Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lock actuator.
3. disconnect the lock cylinder cable from the lock cylinder.
4. Remove the bolts retaining the lock actuator to the rear compartment lid latch.
5. Remove the lock actuator from the rear compartment lid latch.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the lock actuator to the rear compartment lid latch.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.


2. Install the lock actuator to rear compartment lid latch bolts.

Tighten the lock actuator to rear compartment lid latch bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the lock actuator.
4. Connect the lock cylinder cable to the lock cylinder.
5. Close the rear compartment lid.
