Rear Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Conduit Replacement (Front Side Door Conduit Replacement) .
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Remove the rear door outer sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
6. Remove the stationary window molding.
7. Remove the rear door frame molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement () .
8. Remove the window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair) .
9. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
10. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement) .
11. Remove the lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement (Rear Door Lock Replacement) .
12. Remove the door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
13. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Rear Door Window Regulator - Manual) .
14. Disconnect the wiring harness.
15. Support the door.




16. Remove the intermediate door hinge bolts (1).
17. Remove the door.



Installation Procedure

1. Use the aid of an assistant in order to install the door.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the intermediate door hinge bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

3. Remove the support.
4. Connect the wiring harness.
5. Install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Rear Door Window Regulator - Manual) .
6. Install the door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip) .
7. Install the lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement (Rear Door Lock Replacement) .
8. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement (Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement) .
9. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair) .
11. Install the rear door frame molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement () .
12. Install the stationary window molding.
13. Install the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Service and Repair) .
14. Install the rear door outer sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
15. Install the rubber conduit. Refer to Rear Side Door Conduit Replacement (Rear Side Door Conduit Replacement) .
16. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
17. Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
18. Adjust the door. Refer to Rear Door Adjustment (Rear Door Adjustment) .
