Engine Coolant
CHECK COOLANT TEMPThe IPC illuminates the ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE WARNING indicator when the IPC determines that the coolant temperature is greater than 121°C (250°F).
HOT COOLANT TEMP
The IPC illuminates the TEMP indicator when the IPC determines that the coolant temperature is greater than 121°C (250°F). The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM indicating the coolant temperature. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the BCM in order to activate an audible warning.
LOW COOLANT LEVEL
The IPC illuminates the LOW COOLANT indicator when the IPC detects a low coolant level condition (signal circuit is low). The IPC sends a class 2 message to the BCM in order to activate an audible warning.
