Tire Pressure

The IPC illuminates the LOW TIRE indicator when the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects the pressure in one of the four tires is 12 psi (83 kpa) lower than the other three tires. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the BCM in order to activate an audible warning.
