Ignition Lock Cylinder - Disassemble

1. Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Column Shift) or Steering Column Trim Covers - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Floor Shift).
2. Put the key in the steering column lock cylinder set (1).
3. Turn the key to the START position.
4. Install a one sixteenth allen wrench into the hole on top of the electronic lock module assembly (2) to release the steering column lock cylinder set retaining pin.
5. Turn the steering column lock cylinder set (1) to the RUN position.
6. Pull the steering column lock cylinder set (1) out from the electronic lock module assembly.
7. Remove the key from the steering column lock cylinder set (1).
