Rear
Removal Procedure1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation,
3. Remove the rear stabilizer shaft link (1) bolts.
4. Remove the insulator brackets and the bolts from the stabilizer shaft (1).
5. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the rear suspension support.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the stabilizer shaft to the rear suspension support.
2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator brackets (3) and hand tighten the bolts. Do not tighten the nuts at this time.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the right and left rear stabilizer shaft link (1) nuts.
- Tighten the stabilizer shaft link nuts to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Adjust the wheel toe angle. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment.
