Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure

1. Open the front door.




2. Remove the lower half of the front door weatherstrip and retainers using J 38778 .
3. Remove the upper half of the front door weatherstrip pulling the weatherstrip from the track.
4. Remove the front door weatherstrip from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the front door weatherstrip onto the door.
2. Press the upper half of the front door weatherstrip pushing the weatherstrip into the track.
3. Install the lower half of the front door weatherstrip, pressing in on the retainers until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the front door.
