Theft Attempt Detected - 40

The IPC illuminates the THEFT ATTEMPT DETECTED - 40 indicator in the DIC when the Rear Integration Module (RIM) detects a potential vehicle theft. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the RIM requesting illumination. The IPC sends a class 2 message to the radio in order to activate an audible warning.
