Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - IP Cluster
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left IP trim plate.
2. Remove the right IP trim plate.
3. Raise the tilt steering column to the highest position.
4. Remove the two fasteners (1).
5. Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
6. Disengage the four clips across the top edge, and the four clips across the bottom edge that retain the IP cluster trim plate to the IP by gently pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.
7. Set the parking brake.
8. Move the gear selector lever to the L1 position.
9. Tilt the top of the bezel rearward in order to remove.
10. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the driver information center switch (5).
Installation Procedure
1. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the driver information center switch (5).
2. Press the IP cluster trim plate into the IP. Ensure that the clips line up with the holes in the IP.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the fasteners (2).
Tighten the two fasteners (1) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
4. Install the right IP trim plate.
5. Install the left IP trim plate.
