Storage Compartment Replacement - IP

Removal Procedure




1. Open the instrument panel (IP) compartment door.
2. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the storage compartment (1) to the IP.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) for the storage compartment lamp (3).
4. Remove the IP storage compartment from the IP by pulling toward the rear of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector (4) for the storage compartment lamp (3).
2. Install the IP storage compartment (1) to the IP by sliding in toward the front of the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the IP storage compartment fasteners (2) to the IP.

Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

4. Close the IP compartment door.
