Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement - Front (w/ AM6)

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Restraint System Service Precautions in Service Precautions.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
2. Remove the front bucket seat.
3. Remove the seat cushion frame.
4. Remove the remaining seat cushion cover J channels from the seat bottom frame.
5. Remove the manual lumbar support knob, if equipped.
6. Remove the power seat switch.




7. Remove the armrest.




8. Remove the seat cushion cover (1,4).
9. Remove the seat cushion pad (2,3).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seat cushion pad (2,3) to the seat cushion frame.
2. Install the seat cushion cover (1,4) onto the seat cushion pad (2,3).




3. Install the armrest.
4. Install the power seat switch.
5. Install the manual lumbar support knob, if equipped.
6. Install the seat cushion cover J channels to the seat cushion frame.
7. Install the seat cushion frame.
8. Install the front bucket seat.
9. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Restraint Systems.
