72. Camshaft Installation

Camshaft Installation





1. Coat the camshaft with prelude GM P/N United States 12345501,GM P/N Canada 992704 or the equivalent.
2. Install the camshaft.
3. Install the camshaft thrust plate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the camshaft thrust plate bolts.
^ Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).
