Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER INTAKE DUCT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Loosen the intake air duct clamps.
2. Remove intake duct from air cleaner and rotate duct upwards.
3. Remove the inlet snorkel by pulling upwards and inboard.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the intake air duct on the throttle body.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Rotate the intake air duct down and install the intake air duct onto the air cleaner.

Tighten
Tighten the air cleaner duct clamps to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
