Outside Rearview Mirror Memory Recall Does Not Function Properly When Using Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Door Unlock Button (Replace Dr Lk & 0/S R/View Mirror & P/W Control Module)

Condition

Some customers may comment that the outside rearview mirrors do not return to the memory recall position when the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) door unlock button is used to enter the vehicle.

Cause

This condition may be due to a unique software issue within the driver's door lock and the outside rearview mirror and power window control module assembly (DDM).

Correction

Modifications have been made to the DDM software. Replace the DDM. Refer to Door Control Module Replacement in the Doors sub-section in the Service Manual.
