Programming Features With the Tech 2

ENTER PROGRAMMING
To enter programming with the Tech 2, perform the following actions:
1. Install the scan tool.
2. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF.
3. Select the correct vehicle and model year.
4. Select Body.
5. Select Personalization.

AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS
Continue with the following steps in order to program the automatic door locks feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Option #2 or Fob #2 Option #2.
3. Highlight the desired mode from the following choices (see Automatic Door Locks modes above for mode descriptions):
^ Automatic Door Lock Mode 0
^ Automatic Door Lock Mode 1
^ Automatic Door Lock Mode 2
^ Automatic Door Lock Mode 3
4. Press the ENTER button in order to turn the mode ON or OFF. An asterisk appears beside the current mode. (You must turn the current mode OFF before you can turn another one ON.)
5. Select Save Options.
6. Exit from the menu.

DELAY LOCKING
Continue with the following steps in order to program the delay locking feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Option #1 or Fob #2 Option #1.
3. Highlight Delay Locking and press the ENTER button in order to turn the feature ON or OFF. An asterisk appears when the feature is turned ON.
4. Select Save Options.
5. Exit from the menu.

DRIVER ID
Continue with the following steps in order to enter a new driver ID:
1. Select Driver Information Center.
2. Select Driver #1 Name or Driver #2 Name.
3. Spell the ID with the Tech 2 keys.
4. Select Save Options.
5. Exit from the menu.

PARALLEL PARK ASSIST
Continue with the following steps in order to program the parallel park assist feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Mirrors or Fob #2 Mirrors.
3. Highlight Parallel Park Assist and press the ENTER button in order to turn the feature ON or OFF. An asterisk appears when the feature is turned ON.
4. Select Save Options.
5. Exit from the menu.

PASSENGER WINDOW LOCK-OUT
Continue with the following steps in order to program the passenger window lock-out feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Windows or Fob #2 Windows.
3. Highlight Include Front Pass. Window Lockout to have all three windows locked out when chosen. Press the ENTER button in order to turn the feature ON or OFF. An asterisk appears when the feature is turned ON.
4. Select Save Options.
5. Exit from the menu.

PERIMETER LIGHTING
Continue with the following steps in order to program the perimeter lighting feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Option #1 or Fob #2 Option #1.
3. Highlight Perimeter Lighting and press the ENTER button to turn the feature ON or OFF. An asterisk appears when the feature is turned ON.
4. Select Save Options.
5. Exit from the menu.

REMOTE ACTIVATION VERIFICATION
Continue with the following steps in order to program the remote activation verification feature:
1. Select Set Options.
2. Select Fob #1 Option #3 or Fob #2 Option #3.
3. Highlight the desired mode from the following choices (see Remote Activation Verification modes above for mode descriptions):
^ Activation Verification Mode 0
^ Activation Verification Mode 1
^ Activation Verification Mode 2
^ Activation Verification Mode 3
^ Activation Verification Mode 4
^ Activation Verification Mode 5
4. Press the ENTER button in order to turn the mode ON or OFF. An asterisk appears beside the current mode. (You must turn the current mode OFF before you can turn another one ON.)
5. Select Save Options.
6. Exit from the menu.
