The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
2. Determines if this is the correct chart for the symptom.
4. The door modules C2 connectors and the retained accessory power (RAP) relay share this same battery positive voltage circuit. Disconnecting the RAP relay in this step will isolate the battery positive voltage circuit to the door modules C2 connectors, and eliminate the possibility of a RAP function causing the test lamp to illuminate, which could result in a possible false diagnosis of the circuit.
6. This step isolates which door module, or which battery positive voltage circuit associated with connectors C2 is shorted to ground.
