Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Left

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left IP trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Left (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Left) .
2. Remove the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Right (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side) .
3. Remove the left IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Left (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side) .
4. Block the wheels.
5. Place the transmission control lever into the FIRST (1) gear position, in order to allow clearance for the IP cluster trim plate removal.




6. Remove the IP cluster trim plate fastener (4) from the left IP trim cover area.
7. Gently pry the IP cluster trim plate (3) rearward in order to disengage the retainers.
8. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2).



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connectors (1, 2).
2. Align the IP cluster trim plate (3) to the IP.
Push inward to fasten.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the IP cluster trim plate fastener (4) to the IP.

Tighten the fastener to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

4. Place the transmission control lever into the PARK position.
5. Remove the blocks from the wheels.
6. Install the left IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Left (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side) .
7. Install the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory Right (Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Right Side) .
8. Install the left IP trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Left (Instrument Panel (IP) - Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Left) .
