Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) .




2. Remove the IP compartment fasteners (1).
3. Open the IP compartment.
4. Remove the IP compartment from the opening.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the IP compartment.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fasteners (1) in order to secure the IP compartment to the IP.
Install the fasteners with the IP compartment in the closed position.

Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

3. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right (Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right) .
