Stabilizer Shaft Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the stabilizer shaft links.
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts (6).
4. Bend open the stabilizer shaft brackets and remove the stabilizer shaft brackets.
5. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulators from the stabilizer shaft.
6. Remove the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the stabilizer shaft.
2. Install the stabilizer shaft insulators with the slit forward.
3. Install the stabilizer shaft brackets.
4. Close the stabilizer shaft brackets.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





5. Install the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts (6).
Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket retaining bolts to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the stabilizer shaft links.
7. Lower the vehicle.
