Striker Adjustment - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment

Adjustment Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Plate Bezel Replacement) .
2. Open the compartment door.




3. Loosen the screws holding the compartment striker to the I/P.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Adjust the striker for proper alignment to the I/P compartment.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - Trim Plate Bezel Replacement) .
