Cowl Drain Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front) .
2. Remove the push-in retainer from the drain valve.
3. Remove the 2 grommets retaining the drain valve.
4. Remove the drain valve.



Installation Procedure





1. In order to ease installation, apply mild soap to the grommets.

Important: Ensure that the grommets are fully seated.


2. Press the drain valve to the cowl.
3. Install the push-in retainer.
4. Install the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front) .
