Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket retaining bolt.
3. Bend the open end of the clamp upward.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft and insulator.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator. Install the insulator into the stabilizer shaft bracket with slit forward.
2. Bend the stabilizer shaft bracket downward to close around the insulator. Ensure that the stabilizer shaft is centered.
3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the stabilizer shaft insulator retaining bolt.
^ Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator retaining bolt to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
