Door Replacement - Front
Removal Procedure
1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
2. Open the front door.
3. Remove the side front door trim panel.
4. Remove the front door water deflector.
5. Remove the front door speaker.
6. Remove the front door outside mirror.
7. Remove the front door inner sealing strip.
8. Remove the front door frame applique.
9. Remove the front door outer belt sealing strip.
10. Remove the front door window weatherstrip.
11. Remove the front door window channel retainer.
12. Remove the front door window.
13. Remove the front door window regulator.
14. Remove the front outside door handle.
15. Remove the front door lock.
16. Remove the front door body side molding.
17. Remove the front door inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
18. Remove the front door rubber conduit.
19. Remove the front door electrical harness from the door.
20. Support the front door.
21. Remove the front door top intermediate bolt front the door hinge.
Remove the front lower hinge bolts to the door side.
22. Remove the front door from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the front door to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the front door top intermediate to the door hinge
Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
3. Install the front lower hinge bolts to the door side.
Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
4. Remove the support from the front door.
5. Install the front door rubber conduit.
6. Install the front door electrical harness to the door.
7. Install the front door inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
8. Install the front door body side moldings.
9. Install the front door lock.
10. Install the front outside door handle.
11. Install the front door window regulator.
12. Install the front door window.
13. Install the front door window channel retainer.
14. Install the front door window weatherstrip.
15. Install the front door outer belt sealing strip.
16. Install the front door frame applique.
17. Install the front door inner sealing strip.
18. Install the front door outside mirror.
19. Install the front door speaker.
20. Install the front door water deflector.
21. Install the side front door trim panel.
22. Install and adjust the front door.
23. Close the rear door.
24. Remove the masking tape from the front door and fender.
