64. Camshaft Bearing Installation

Camshaft Bearing Installation

Tools Required
^ J33049 Camshaft Bearing Service Set





1. Select the camshaft bearings.





2. Use the following procedure to install the camshaft bearings:
1. Assemble J33049 according to the manufacturer's instructions.
2. Place the bearing on the tool.

3. Index the bearing oil holes with the engine block oil passages.

Notice: Severe engine damage may result if the oil holes are not correctly aligned.
