Tire/Wheel Vibration at 64-96 KM/H (40-60 MPH) (Replace Tire(s))
Models:
2005-2006 Buick Allure (Canada Only), LaCrosse
with Goodyear P225/60R16 Integrity Tires ONLY
Condition
Some customers may comment on a tire/wheel hop or vibration at speeds between 64-69 km/h (40-60 mph).
Cause
Diagnostics has determined that the tire(s) may have excessive radial force variation (RFV).
Correction
Replace the affected tire(s) if necessary.
Contact the nearest Goodyear retailer through the normal channels but request a tire(s) with a date code above 1106. The date code "1106 is the 11th week of 2006 and is the last four numbers of the tires DOT code. This code can be found on the inboard side of the replacement tire. Tires after this date have been optimized to improve uniformity and improve ride. Refer to the following Corporate Bulletin Numbers for additional information.
