Cylinder Head Installation - Left

^ J45059 Angle Meter





1. Install the cylinder head gasket. Ensure the arrows point towards the front of the engine. The left cylinder head gasket has the letter Liters stamped next to the arrow.
2. Install the cylinder head.





3. Notice: Refer to Special Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install new cylinder head bolts.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) in sequence. Using J45059 rotate each cylinder head bolt an additional 120 degrees.
