CIRCUIT/SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
When the Trunk/Liftglass Hatch Key Switch Circuit, ground is applied through the switch to the body control module (BCM). The BCM then sends a class 2 message to the instrument panel cluster to illuminate the ajar indicator.

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The ignition is ON.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The BCM receives a voltage signal on the driver door ajar circuit.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The Trunk/Liftglass Hatch Key Switch Circuit Ajar indicator is on at all times.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
The BCM clears this code from current when the fault is removed from the system.
