Crankshaft Position Sensor Wiring Harness Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness electrical connector.
2. Remove the intake manifold.
3. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the CKP sensor.
4. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the left knock sensor.
5. Disconnect the harness clip (3) from the engine harness ground bracket.
6. Disconnect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the right knock sensor.
7. Remove the harness clip (4) from the engine block hole.
8. Remove the CKP sensor wiring harness bolts (1, 2).
9. Remove the CKP sensor wiring harness.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the CKP sensor wiring harness.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.
2. Install the CKP sensor wiring harness bolts (1, 2).
* Tighten the bolt (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
* Tighten the bolt (2) to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
3. Install the harness clip (4) to the engine block hole.
4. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the right knock sensor.
5. Connect the harness clip (3) to the engine harness ground bracket.
6. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the left knock sensor.
7. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the CKP sensor.
8. Install the intake manifold.
9. Connect the engine harness electrical connector (1) to the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector.
