Battery Current Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tape securing the battery current sensor to the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the battery current sensor.


Installation Procedure




1. Install the battery current sensor by passing the ground end of the negative cable through the sensor.
2. Wrap electrical tape around the battery current sensor in order to secure the sensor to the negative battery cable.
3. Install the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Replacement (Service and Repair).
