Engine Flywheel Installation

Special Tools
* J 37096 - Flywheel Holder
* J 45059 - Angle Meter
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Special Tools).




1. Install the flywheel.




2. Use the J 37096 - holder to secure the flywheel in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the new flywheel bolts and tighten the bolts to 15 Nm (11 lb ft). Use the J 45059 - meter to tighten the bolts an additional 50 degrees.
