Stabilizer Shaft Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft links from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (Rear Suspension).
4. Remove the clamp bolts from the stabilizer shaft.
5. Remove the stabilizer shaft from the rear suspension support.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the stabilizer shaft to the rear suspension support.
2. Install the stabilizer shaft clamps and bolts. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
3. Install the stabilizer shaft link to the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (Rear Suspension).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
4. Tighten the stabilizer shaft clamps and bolts to 51 Nm (38 lb ft).
5. Install the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
6. Lower the vehicle.
