Diagnostic Fault Information
Circuit/System Description
The following module/sensors monitor the system voltage circuit to determine if the voltage is within the normal operating range:
* Parking brake control module
* Power steering control module
* Electronic brake control module
* Suspension control module
* Steering wheel angle sensor
* Rear differential clutch control module
* Multi-axis acceleration sensor
Conditions for Running the DTC
Ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
C0800 03
The module/sensor detects that the system voltage is less than 9.2 V for 7 seconds.
C0800 07
The module/sensor detects that the system voltage is greater than 16 V for 7 seconds.
C0800 11
The electric power steering module detects that the battery voltage is greater than 22 V.
C0800 0D
The electronic brake control module detects a loss of solenoid ground.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
A DIC message and/or a warning indicator may be displayed.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The system voltage returns to normal operating range.
Diagnostic Aids
* A high or low voltage DTC set in multiple module/sensors indicates a concern in the charging system.
* A possible cause of this DTC could be overcharging with a battery charger or jump starting.

Circuit/System Verification
1. Engine running, measure and record the voltage at the C1 battery terminals.
2. Verify that the battery voltage is 12.6-15.0 V.
• If the battery voltage is not within the specified range, refer to Charging System Test (Charging System Test).
3. Observe the scan tool of the appropriate module Battery Positive parameter. Verify that the scan tool displays a value that is within 2 V of the battery terminal voltage.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate module/sensor.
2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 10 Ohms between the ground circuit terminals listed below and ground:
* Terminal H, K83 Parking brake control module
* Terminal 10, K43 Power steering control module
* Terminal 13, K17 Electronic brake control module
* Terminal 38, K17 Electronic brake control module
* Terminal 18, K19 Suspension control module
* Terminal E X1, K47 Rear differential clutch control module
* Terminal L X1, K47 Rear differential clutch control module
* Terminal 6, B99 Steering wheel angle sensor
* Terminal 6, B119 Multi-axis acceleration sensor
• If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
3. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits listed below and ground:
* Terminal A, K83 Parking brake control module
* Terminal P, K83 Parking brake control module
* Terminal 1, K43 Power steering control module
* Terminal 5, K43 Power steering control module
* Terminal 1, K17 Electronic brake control module
* Terminal 25, K17 Electronic brake control module
* Terminal 1, K19 Suspension control module
* Terminal 6, K19 Suspension control module
* Terminal M X1, K47 Rear differential clutch control module
* Terminal 5, B99 Steering wheel angle sensor
* Terminal 5, B119 Multi-axis acceleration sensor
• If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.
4. If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate module/sensor.
Repair Instructions
