Cylinder Head Bolts

Use NEW bolts





First pass 30 Nm (22 lb ft)
Second pass additional 155 degrees

Front cylinder head bolts 35 Nm (26 lb ft)
Use NEW bolts

Surface Flatness - Block Deck - Longitude 0.050 mm (0.002 in)
Surface Flatness - Block Deck - Overall 0.1 mm (0.004 in)
Surface Flatness - Block Deck - Transverse 0.030 mm (0.0012 in)

Camshaft bearing caps

Tighten the bearing cap bolts in increments of 3 turns until they are seated.
Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in)

Actuator bolt 30 Nm (22 lb ft) plus an additional 100 degrees

Intake manifold





Intake Manifold to Cylinder Head Bolt 10 Nm (89 lb in)
Intake Manifold to Cylinder Head Nut 10 Nm (89 lb in)
Intake Manifold to Cylinder Head Stud 6 Nm (53 lb in)


Exhaust manifold 14 Nm (10 ft lb)

Tighten nuts working from the center out
