Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet Installation




1. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet and O-ring seal into the front cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.

* Starting with the uppermost bolt, tighten the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts a first pass in a clockwise sequence to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
* Starting with the uppermost bolt, tighten the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts a final pass in a clockwise sequence to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
