Front Brake Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure

Danger:
Do not use a service jack in locations other than those specified to lift this vehicle. Lifting the vehicle with a jack in those other locations could cause the vehicle to slip off the jack and roll; this could cause injury or death.


Warning:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning Brake Dust Warning.


1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.

3. Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (GNA) Front Suspension.





4. Remove the front brake shield (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the front brake shield (1).

2. Install the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (GNA) Front Suspension.

3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Service and Repair.
