Coaxial Cable Replacement - Cellular Telephone
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Remove the headliner.
2. Remove the IP trim panel.
3. Remove the driver's side door sill plate.
4. Remove the hinge pillar trim moldings.
5. Disconnect the cable connector from the antenna inner coupling (1).
6. Remove the cable clips (2) from the roof and pillar.
7. Remove the cable from the body harness conduit (1).
8. Remove the cable clips (2) from underneath the IP.
9. Disconnect the cable connector (3) from the VCU.
10. Attach a wire to the end of the cable connector (3) in order for the coaxial cable to be pulled from underneath the IP.
11. Remove the wire from the coaxial cable.
12. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Attach the wire to the new coaxial cable.
2. From the top of the IP pull the wire till the coaxial cable can be connected to the VCU.
3. Remove the wire from the cable.
4. Connect the cable (3) to the VCU.
5. Install the cable clips to underneath the IP.
6. Lay the cable in the body harness conduit (1).
7. Install the cable clips (2) to the roof and pillar.
8. Connect the cable connector to the antenna inner coupling (1).
9. Install the hinge pillar trim moldings.
10. Install the driver's side door sill plate.
11. Install the IP trim panel.
12. Install the headliner.
