Rear axle identification information is stamped on the right side axle tube near the differential housing.

The information includes the following:
^ Broadcast code (1)
^ Build Source (2)
^ Build date (3) (Julian date)
^ Shift built (4)

In order to verify reports made on the rear axle assembly, include full code letters and build date numbers.
