IP Trim Panel Replacement - Lower

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) cluster trim bezel.




2. Remove the following components, depending on how equipped:

* The IP cupholder cover, shown
* The IP cupholder
Refer to Cupholder Replacement.
* The floor console extension
Refer to Console Replacement (Base Console) Console Replacement (Luxury Console).




3. Remove the bolts connecting the lower trim panel to the IP assembly.




4. Disconnect the following electrical connectors:

* The power outlet ports (1, 2)
* The ashtray lamp (3)
* The IP compartment lamp, if equipped

5. Remove the lower trim panel from the IP assembly.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the lower IP trim panel to the IP assembly.




2. Connect the following electrical components:

* The power outlet ports (1, 2)
* The ashtray lamp (3)
* The IP compartment lamp, if equipped





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the screws connecting the lower trim panel to the IP assembly.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the following components, depending on how equipped:

* The IP cupholder cover, shown
* The IP cupholder
Refer to Cupholder Replacement.
* The floor console extension
Refer to Console Replacement (Base Console) Console Replacement (Luxury Console).

5. Install the IP cluster trim bezel.
