Cylinder Head - Left





M11
First Pass - In Sequence 30 Nm (22 lb ft)
Second Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees
Third Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees
Final Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees, total 180 degrees
M6 12 Nm (106 lb in)

Do Not re-use old M11 Bolts

Cylinder Head - Right





M11
First Pass - In Sequence 30 Nm (22 lb ft)
Second Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees
Third Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees
Final Pass - In Sequence 60 degrees, total 180 degrees
M6 12 Nm (106 lb in)

Do Not re-use old M11 Bolts

Intake Manifold





Mounting Bolt 10 Nm (89 lb in)

Camshaft Bearing Cap - Left





First Pass
Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts 5 Nm (44 lb in).

Final Pass
Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts an additional 30 degrees using the J45059.

Camshaft Bearing Cap - Right





First Pass
Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts 5 Nm (44 lb in).

Final Pass
Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts an additional 30 degrees using the J45059.

Main Bearing Cap





First Pass
Tighten the lower crankcase bearing bolts (1-20) 20 Nm (15 lb ft)

Final Pass
Tighten the lower crankcase bolts (1-20) an additional 65 degrees

Rod Bearing Cap
First Pass 30 Nm (22 lb ft)
Second Pass Back off to zero
Third Pass 25 Nm (18 lb ft)
Final Pass 100 degrees

Crankshaft Balancer Bolt
First Pass 50 Nm (37 lb ft)
Final Pass 150 degrees

Engine Flywheel Bolt
First Pass 15 Nm (11 lb ft )
Final Pass 50 degrees

Oil Pump





First Pass
Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts 10 Nm (89 lb in)

Final Pass
Tighten the oil pump mounting bolts an additional 35 degrees using the J 45059.

Exhaust Manifold - Left





Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts 25 Nm (18 lb ft)

Exhaust Manifold - Right





Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts 25 Nm (18 lb ft)

Water Pump

Water Pump Bolt 10 Nm (89 lb in)
