Digital Radio Receiver Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.

1. Remove the right body side trim.




2. Remove the fasteners securing the digital radio receiver.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove the receiver.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the receiver electrical connectors.




2. Locate the receiver to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the fasteners securing the receiver to the vehicle.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the right body side trim.
5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Setup. Programming and Relearning
