Diagnostic Instructions

Circuit/System Testing
Important: If rear seat audio controller turns ON but the video is blank, use diagnostic Video Display is Poor or Blank.
1. Ignition OFF, Disconnect the video rear seat audio controller harness connector. Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal J1-5 and ground.
• If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
• If the B+ circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
2. Test for less than 1.0 ohm of resistance between the rear seat audio controller ground circuit and ground
• If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
• If all circuits test normal, replace the rear seat audio controller.
